VTEX is a LaTeX-based technical typesetter and data supplier for science publishers.
The company has been in business since 1991, and is located in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The company was founded by professional mathematicians working in Dutch and Lithuanian
research institutes. In 2009, VTEX is processing over 190 titles of science journals and
over 70 volumes of books (the major part of which are in mathematics, computer science,
physics, and chemistry). Expected production turnover for 2009 is over 375,000 pages.
Over 70,000 pages (in mathematics, physics and chemistry) will be produced in full-text XML.
Company's main customers are Dutch, French, and American science publishers.
VTEX has three branch offices, and 220 employees (January, 2009), of whom 16 have academic
degrees in mathematics, physics, and chemistry (editors and IT).

Since 1999, VTEX is a certified data supplier for Elsevier Science. VTEX renders a wide
range of services - from copy editing manuscripts and processing artwork to delivery of the
final PS or PDF files to printers, and preparing full-text XML/MathML files.
As of 2001, our company provides full redactory services for books and journals.
