VTeX provides LaTeX-based publishing solutions and data services to the scientific community and science publishers. The company was founded in 1991 in Vilnius, Lithuania, by seven professional mathematicians based in research institutes. This influenced the specialty of the company – VTeX concentrates on publishing services in mathematics and physics.
VTeX has 223 employees (as of January, 2011), 204 of them are university graduates. Main staff comprises 198 specialists, of whom 112 are university graduates in mathematics, 13 have doctoral degrees in mathematics, physics, and chemistry (management, editors and IT).
We have profound LaTeX knowledge – all workers are fluent LaTeX users, a crew of LaTeX experts maintains the systems. We are proud to be the residence of the Lithuanian TeX Users Group (TUG).
