EJMS principal scheme and roles
On the scheme submissions movement through EJMS is seen in detail. Red arrows indicate standard route of a submission if Editor decides
that submission requires the review. Dashed arrows show an additional path if a revision is required.
In this scheme we also see an additional useful option for Editor: an evaluation. If Editor is not familiar
with a subject presented in a submission and has no idea about its value, he may ask several of his colleagues
(Associate Editors or Referees) to look quickly an abstract or pdf and send their opinion if it is worth to start
a review of this submission. This additional stage takes about 2 weeks. After receiving the responses an Editor
makes his final decision or starts the review process.
